Asher Dance Eclectic

M.A.D. Theatre's sub-company, Asher Dance Eclectic (A.D.E.), incorporates able-bodied and disabled dancers to produce high quality, educational dance performances. A.D.E. has been providing audiences throughout Central Florida with physically-integrated dance since 1999 through independent dance concerts and participation with other groups such as VSA Arts.

In addition, A.D.E. provides educational outreach through lectures, demonstrations and inter-active performances in schools, hospitals and day program settings. A.D.E. has performed at Epcot for Walt Disney Entertainment, Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, The Florida Aquarium, Lake Eola Amphitheatre (Orlando), The Falk Theatre, Ruth Eckerd Hall and The University of South Florida and has collaborated with other companies such as "Moving Current" and "Karen Peterson & Dancers", Miami.

Acclaimed as Central Florida's first mixed-mobility dance company, "Asher Dance Eclectic" has received numerous awards for its benefits to the community and quality productions. The Weekly Planet voted A.D.E. "Best of the Bay" for community dance organizations in 2003.
