Asher Dance Ecletic

is a sub-company of M.A.D. Theatre that incorporates able-bodied and disabled dancers to produce high quality, educational dance performances. A.D.E. has been providing audiences throughout Central Florida with physically-integrated dance since 1999 through independent dance concerts and participation with other groups. In addition, A.D.E provides educational outreach through lectures, demonstrations and interactive performances in schools, hospitals and day program settings.

After School Enrichment Programs

are an important part of our community outreach. Performing arts programs have unfortunately been cut from school curriculums nationwide. After-school enrichment programs provide schools and parents an alternative way to support the importance of arts in their student's education.

A.D.E. has performed at Epcot for Walt Disney Entertainment, Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, The Florida Aquarium, Lake Eola Amphitheatre (Orlando), The Falk Theatre, Ruth Eckerd Hall and The University of South Florida and has collaborated with other companies such as "Moving Current" and "Karen Peterson & Dancers", Miami.

Acclaimed as Central Florida's first mixed-mobility dance company, "Asher Dance Eclectic" has received numerous awards for its benefits to the community and quality productions. The Weekly Planet voted A.D.E. "Best of the Bay" for community dance organizations in 2003.

Asher Dance Eclectic performs full-length productions in local venues throughout Tampa and also provides educational performances throughout Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. Please contact M.A.D. Dancer Auditions

Our "in-house" dance company, "Asher Dance Eclectic", is looking for dancers 18+ with strong dance background in modern/lyrical dance.
